SPORTS STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT FORUM

A sport stakeholder’s forum that brought together all SAGAS, stakeholders, Sports Federations and partners under the Sports Ministry in Kenya was held on 29th January 2024 – Radisson Blu hotel.

This forum was part of ongoing efforts by the Fund to increase its engagement and interactions with its stakeholders to ensure increased service delivery, provide an opportunity to share experiences and address the challenges facing efficient disbursement of Funds.

The event was attended by sports CS – Hon Ababu Namwamba, PS- Eng. Peter Tum, Chairperson – Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Jackson Tuwei and SASDF CEO Nuh. M .Ibrahim.

Cabinet Secretary for Sports Ababu Namwamba told sports organizations that the ministry will prioritize funding sporting activities in the country and abroad that bring value to the country in terms of diplomatic relations, talent development and unity promotion.

SASDF Chief Executive Officer Nuh M. Ibrahim took time to remind federations on funding procedures and that they must comply with the regulations for funding consideration.
